Location

There will be various locations used for my teaser trailer. One of the main places used for the outside shots will be a burnt down heathland area like the image on the right. I think it could be very effective for scenic shots used inbetween the action as it looks quite eerie. 

The location is obviously a very important aspect of the mise-en-scene as it can represent the genre and tone of the piece of media. In a teaser trailer the location doesn't need to be identifiable as the scene doesn't need to be established, therefore i think its more necessary to use effective shots that will stay in the audiences memory, to advertise the film.

I think that the shots in the burnt down heathland areas will be very effective as it will make the scene very tense. The location could represent warning within the area as it is completly lifeless with everything being burntdown, i think this adds to the location and makes it seem scarier.
