I Am Legend is a sci-fi thriller about a man who is the last person left in new york, full of humans infected with a virus. I think this is a very clever teaser trailer as it doesnt tell the audience too much; in the trailer it doesn't even mention that the character shown (Will Smith) is accompanied by thousands of zombies, and all it mentions right at the end of the trailer that he is not alone. Saying that he is not alone leaves a huge question in the audiences head and will more than likely get them more interested in the film. The trailer uses some stunning camera shots alongside amazing CGI effects. The mise-en-scene in the shots like the one with the character walking through a deserted, grassy times square definitely grasp the audiences attention. The representation that Will Smith is protagonist is clear in the trailer as he is the main person shown throughout, this gives away a small amount of information about the narrative, the rest is either portrayed on screen, not mentioned or given to us in a small amount of detail: e.g 'the last man on earth is not alone'.
